Independence Day Program

Reading the Declaration of Independence was a memorable experience for our families at ATLAS.  We remembered the founders of our country and the inspired words that served as the catalyst for our nation, the United States of America.

We met at the Tabernacle for a short program and then hiked up the hill to the Logan Temple.  There we enjoyed 'free lemonade' (just like Laura Ingalls Wilder).

I find myself now contemplating the connection of those very words from the Declaration, and how through them, it made religious freedom and the building of that beautiful temple possible.  Thank you to the Sloan family for planning such a meaningful event!
